Event Information

"One of the last remaining links to traditional country, roots music, and the generation of greats like George Jones and Hank Williams".- Rolling Stone. Such is the praise heaped on Marty Stuart, five time GRAMMY-winner, platinum recording artist, Lifetime Achievement Award recipient from the Americana Music Association, Grand Ole Opry star, country music archivist, photographer, musician, and songwriter, known for both his traditional style, and ecletic merging of rockabilly, honky-tonk, and traditional country music. With 18 albums to his credit, Stuart has spent over four decades celebrating American roots music. His teenage years on tour with bluegreass legend Lester Flatt in the '70s were followed by six years in Johnny Cash's band in the '80s. His chart-topping tenure as a solo artist in the '90s includes hits such as 'The Whiskey Ain't Workin', 'The Devil Comes Back to Georgia', 'Honky Tonkin's What I Do Best.'
